Frequently asked questions from property owners
What is the RABLE system?
The RABLE system is an innovative mounting system for solar panels that is specially designed for flat (weak) roofs. The system is self-supporting and distributes the weight evenly, making it safe to use on roofs with limited load-bearing capacity.
Is the RABLE system suitable for my roof?
The RABLE system is suitable for flat roofs with a slope of up to 10 degrees and can be installed on various types of roofing, such as EPDM, PVC, and Bitumen. The system can also be applied to steel and concrete roofing slabs.
What are the benefits of the RABLE system for my business premises?
With the RABLE system, solar panels are installed without the need for ballast or structural renovations. This saves time and money. The system is designed to distribute the weight evenly, making it safe for roofs with limited load-bearing capacity.
How is the RABLE system attached to my commercial roof?
The RABLE system uses special roof anchors that are attached to the ends of the structure to control uplift forces. This requires up to 95% fewer roof anchors than traditional systems, resulting in lower installation costs and less stress on your roof. Installation is carried out by one of RABLE's installation partners. If you would like to be linked to a partner, or already have an installation party in mind? CA; please contact us.
Do RABLE tension cables cause energy loss?
The steel cables in the RABLE system can cause a limited shadow cast, but this results in a yield loss of less than 3%. The system also has walkways every 4 panels, which compensates for the energy loss.
How does RABLE help with project preparation?
RABLE offers support throughout the entire planning and installation process. You can share your project details with us, so we can put you in touch with one of our installation partners. Do you already have an installation party in mind? CA; then contact us.
What certifications does the RABLE system have?
The RABLE system has all the required certifications, including those for corrosion and NEN 1010. Our laying plans meet the requirements of NEN 7250, based on the Eurocodes for snow and wind loads.
Can I combine the RABLE system with other solar panel brands?
Yes, the RABLE system is suitable for all types of solar panels, regardless of weight or size. We use industry standard mounting clamps, giving you the flexibility to choose the panels that best suit your needs.
