How do I access the calculator?
To use the calculator you need to create an account, click on this link for this.
How do I deal with ridges or valleys in the roof?
The system is not designed to be installed over a ridge or valley. It's important that you create a new roof surface starting from the ridge or valley. If you do want to install over a ridge or valley, please clearly mark this in your plan and send it to RABLE; we'll then explore the possibilities with support feet.
Is the calculator free?
Yes, the calculator is free to use, but you do need to create an account, which you can do via this link.
How do I make a laying plan?
Creating a layout plan with the calculator is very easy. Watch an instructional video here.
How do I determine the wind zone?
You can determine the wind zone using the following image, please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about determining the wind zone of your project.
How do I determine the terrain category?
The terrain category can be determined from the following image:
My building has multiple heights, what do I fill in?
If your building has multiple heights, enter the height of the highest roof section.
I don't have an exact address, what should I do?
Enter an address that is close to the building and drag the map to the correct area.
How do I determine if enough anchors are being used in my system?
After generating the report, send your report to RABLE, we will check it for you.
How do I change the orientation of the setup?
You can change the orientation of the roof by creating a roof by clicking in the bottom left and then top left, instead of top left and then top right.
What is the maximum roof height the calculator works with?
The calculator works up to a roof height of 20 meters. Is the desired roof higher? Then contact RABLE.
Is it possible to implement a roof attachment other than roof anchors?
This is possible, first draw your roof and then contact RABLE.
I am unable to generate a report, what should I do?
Check carefully if all fields are filled in. Check carefully if you pressed 'add roof' after creating a roof. Check carefully if you pressed 'add obstacle' after creating an obstacle. Then check if you have generated all desired roofs with the 'calculate systems' button.
