Vacancy: (Graduation) Commercial Internship Role – Rollout France
RABLE is growing! There are many brands of mounting materials in the solar market, but RABLE has a unique application and is looking for your help to successfully roll it out in France. Are you a student pursuing a business degree and looking for an internship (or graduation internship)?
Are you looking for a top candidate who can think outside the box and get things done?
RABLE is a young and energetic company based in Delft. With our ballast-free substructure, we ensure that weak roofs in the Netherlands can still be equipped with a solar energy system. Our goal is to eventually equip the entire built environment with
solar energy and thus accelerate the energy transition, while protecting nature.
As an intern at RABLE, you'll have the opportunity to gain experience in various aspects of marketing and sales within the sustainable energy sector. We're happy to help you develop your research questions and will guide you through the process of making your internship a success. We enjoy excellent brand recognition in the Netherlands and are seeing significant demand from France. Our new product, the Carpark, is responding to this high demand in France, and our unique solution for solar panels on fragile commercial roofs has also recently been approved for sale. We've already conducted research in France, but we're now looking for an intern who knows how to conquer France in the smartest way. In your graduation project, you'll build on what we've already researched and immediately try your best approach.
As you can see, this isn't just desk research. All results serve as input for your thesis. You won't just be collecting blogs, articles, and other textual input on your computer, but you'll also have the opportunity to truly measure the success of your ideas. We're not a company that just files your thesis away; we'll put it to use right away!
Will you help us conquer the French market?
Job description and responsibilities:
- Conduct research on the French market. This includes analyzing market trends, necessary certifications, competition, and potential customers/partners.
- Optimizing the lead generation process; Analyze our current process by participating and noting what works and what doesn't. What stands out to you? How can we optimize this for France?
- Test your ideas directly by implementing them in coordination with the Business Unit Manager. By testing everything operationally, we expect you to be able to provide a tactical and strategic plan/advice for France. The best way to develop a broad plan is to experience its operational implications.
- Supporting the internationalization of our internal tools, including installation manuals, product documentation, etc. You will help adapt these processes to function optimally in France. Is what we have for the Benelux and Sweden also desirable in France?
- Guiding the team in adapting project processes to comply with local laws and regulations in selected international markets.
- Mapping out the most suitable USPs in France that we can use in our communications. Do the French value the same things as we do here in the Netherlands?
- Thinking along/executing sales/marketing campaigns in France
- Being able to set up/execute online campaigns on social media
Candidate Profile:
- Final-year HBO student with a background in Business, Economics, Sales or a similar field.
- Affinity with sustainable energy and the ambition to contribute to the energy transition
- You have strong analytical skills and are able to conduct market and competitive analyses.
- You have an affinity with business development and sales, and are motivated to generate new business opportunities.
- You are independent, proactive and have a hands-on mentality.
- Good command of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written
- French speaking is a plus, not a requirement

You'll be based in Delft, where RABLE's office and production facilities are located in an innovative location. A unique office has been built in a former factory, where you'll collaborate with a young and dynamic team. A few halls down, the substructure is assembled and delivered. It's a unique location in Delft where you can also enjoy paddleboarding, bouldering, a beer at a local brewery, and delicious food. From the parking lot, you can see Delft city center and easily reach the A4 motorway. You'll be given everything you need to develop your role to your own specifications.
